Angola's post-war economy is booming and its capital, Luanda, is the most expensive city in the world after Tokyo. Although the country is Africa's second-biggest oil producer, most Angolans live on less than $2 a day. Meanwhile, the country's president and his ruling party have clung on to power for over three decades, gaining tight control of both the public and private sectors, and stifling dissent and protest.
Located in Angola, Luanda has been named the world’s most expensive city in the 2014 Cost of Living Ranking compiled by the human resources consulting firm Mercer. A house can be $10,000 a month to rent, a basic meal out for two is easily $50, a hotel room can weigh in at $400 a night and a kilo of imported tomatoes a staggering $16.

In 2013 Rotary Club Falsterbo-Vellinge sent two specialists in ear surgery to Luanda, Angola to teach. The project was a cooperation between the Swedish club Falsterbo-Vellinge and the Angola club,Luanda. Chronic Otits Media is a social disease and can be easily cured if treated early. The best way to stop the disease is to fight poverty. Vellinge kommun supported the project with children choirs singing, to emphasize the importance of the project and the joy of hearing better. Luanda choirs send back greetings in the same manner.

Filth and nauseating smells have overwhelmed the city ever since the local authorities admitted that they'd run out of money to pay the garbage collectors. While yellow fever ravages the country - killing an estimated 250 people since December - residents now fear that these unsanitary conditions could further spread disease. Main version of a promotional video of the Richmond condo, located in Luanda, Angola. Fully computer generated, this job includes modelling, shading, texturing, illumination, camera programming, motion graphics, vfx, edition, composition, soundtrack, sound fx, synchronization, rendering, post production and blu-ray authoring. The saturation has been pushed towards a more realistic sunset tone on post production, compared to the sub version of this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEna2Ch4hyc), at the cost of losing some shadow details. Special thanks to Andrew Kramer and "Wevmaster" for great ideas and hints.
